Adult Programming Re-Imagined | NJLA Poster Presentation

Libraries are evolving to meet the needs of their communities, but how can we engage adult patrons with full and busy schedules?  This poster presentation explored popular library favorites through a reimagined lens, by way of interactive displays, off-site book clubs, and low-cost
programming to go. How to customize these ideas towards individual libraries, as well as
promotion and branding were also discussed.

George Washington's Letters| MARAC Poster Presentation

This project focused on select examples of archived correspondence between George Washington and various figures of the Revolutionary War. Digitized copies of these letters from the New York Public Library and National Archives and Records Administration connected within this remix to tell a story of Washington as both a personal man and a public figure.

This project demonstrated how libraries and archival repositories can use a similar strategy to not only link to archives and promote these resources on their own with website building and hosting tool wix.com, but also showcase the importance of having transliterated and digitized copies within a collection.
